This non profit group enables unattached people make new friends and extend their social lives.

Most members live in the South Manchester/NE Cheshire area, but  people  come from much further afield and all are welcome.

We are not a dating club, although naturally, many members have paired off over the years and can continue to enjoy membership if they wish. It is a social group where you will find people who are in a similar situation to you.  It gives you an opportunity to meet new friends to chat and laugh with over a drink and to join for meals, parties, theatre visits, sports, dances, walking, book club etc. plus weekends away and other holidays. In fact, the members run the club for themselves and we are always interested in new ideas for events and activities.

Prospective new members are welcome to join us, at our regular Thursday evening drop-in sessions, or on one of our events.  Just telephone or e-mail us to let us know that you would like to come along to and we will arrange for someone to greet you and introduce you to the other members.  If you enjoy walking, you might like to join us on a walk.  This is a good way to get to know some of the other members in a relaxed environment. You will be made very welcome and we hope that, after trying two or three events, you will decide to join the group. The programme of activities is put together every 2 months, and you can check out the current programme on the website to see what events you would like to participate in.  Some of the previous programmes are on the Archive file and you might like to look at that to see what sort of events we have had in the past.  Bridge events are organised on an adhoc basis between members who have registered an interest in playing bridge.

The annual subscription, to cover running expenses, is £27, and there is a joining fee of £12. The annual fee is from 1st Mar., but, if you join at any other time of the year, the fee is reduced pro-rata to the time you join. If you would like to join us, you can print off a copy of the form from the website by clicking here.  You will need to contact us by telephone to get the address of the person you should send it to.
